The Problem

Department of Labor (DOL) needed to modernize the OPA-DEC IT Governance program.

  • CTi's Contribution(in partnership with DOL/OPA-DEC)

    • Implemented OPA-DEC Business and IT Modernization methodology to capture, review and approve all new modernization ideas that contribute to DOL/OPA-DEC strategic advantages.
    • Established Strategic Planning and Enterprise Architecture Committee (SPEAC) and governance processes to enable increased managerial oversight into mission progress and business alignment.
    • Captured baseline and target EA segments and transition strategy plan according to FEA framework.

    The Result

    Department of Labor consistently earns a "Green" Scorecard in the area of IT Governance.
