HERNDON, VA – May 2, 2008 —Cascades Technologies, Inc. (CTi), an 8(a) Federal government IT and professional services provider, announced today announced today that it was selected by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce as one of the state’s fifty fastest growing companies for the fourth year in a row.  This annual recognition and the associated gala event are known as the “Fantastic Fifty”.   CTi was ranked twelfth in the group of 50 companies.

“What a great honor to receive this prestigious award for the fourth year in a row”, said Alfredo Casta, CTi’s President and CEO.  He added, “Our dedication to providing the highest quality technical support services to our clients has paid off and we could not be more pleased with the customers who have stayed with us for years and the customers we have acquired more recently”.

Nominations for the “Fantastic 50” come from across the commonwealth.  The program is limited to privately held firms, headquartered in Virginia, with annual revenues of between $200,000 and $100 million and who demonstrate positive revenue growth and positive net income in each of the last four years.  Contestants are judged on their recent revenue and profit history (2003 – 2006). 

The names of fifty of Virginia's fastest growing companies were announced at the twelfth annual Virginia's Fantastic Fifty Banquet on May 1 at the beautiful Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia. Nearly 500 attendees were present at the glittering ceremony as the winners were saluted for their entrepreneurial success and contribution to Virginia's economic vitality.
