HERNDON, VA – October 17, 2007— Cascades Technologies, Inc. (CTi),
an 8(a) Federal government IT and professional services provider, today announced that it has again been
recognized by Inc. 500 Magazine as one of the country’s fastest growing private companies for the second
consecutive year, with a 648.8% growth-rate. Ranking number 444 overall, the company was 35th among
“Top Companies in Government Services”.
The magazine announced the awardees at its 26th annual Inc. 500 Conference and Awards Ceremony in Chicago.

Inc. 500 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify,
companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2003, and therefore,
able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held,
and independent--revenue in 2006 must have been at least $2 million.
