| Cascades Technologies, Inc. (CTi), Recognized as One of Virginia's "Fantastic
50", Ranked Seventh overall, Fourth in Technology
HERNDON, VA – May 3, 2007 — Cascades Technologies, Inc. (CTi),
an 8(a) federal government IT and professional services provider, today announced that it
has been recognized by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce as one of the state's
50 fastest growing companies for the third consecutive year.
The names of the fastest growing Virginia companies which included CTi were announced at the 12th annual
Virginia;s FANTASTIC 50 Banquet on April 26th at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia. Over 400
attendees at the ceremony saluted the winners for their entrepreneurial success and contribution
to Virginia's economic vitality. " We are very honored to receive this award from the
Virginia Chamber of Commerce," said Mr. Alfredo Casta, CTi's President and CEO.

Nominations selected for the "FANTASTIC 50" come from across the Commonwealth.
The program is limited to privately held firms, headquartered in Virginia, with annual revenues
of between $200,000 and $100 million. Contestants are judged on a positive four-year sales revenue history.
A highlight of the awards banquet was the announcement of the five Virginia Vanguard Winners-one for the
highest overall growth rate, and the other four for the highest growth in the categories of Manufacturing, Retail/Wholesale, Service and Technology.
CTi is pleased to be ranked fourth in the category of Technology.
